Continuing with its streak of issuing floating solar PV tenders in quick succession since October 2018, the National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) has announced one more with 20 MW capacity (see 100 MW Floating PV Tender From NTPC). It has invited bids to develop the 20 MW grid-connected floating solar power project at NTPC Anta Gas Power Station in Anta, Rajasthan.
Scope of work includes design, engineering, manufacturing, supply, packing and forwarding, transportation, unloading, storage, installation and commissioning of the grid connected solar project, along with comprehensive operation and maintenance of the plant for 3 years post commissioning.
Successful bidders will be at liberty to source PV modules and cells from anywhere in the world. They will need to supply floaters, installation, anchoring, fixing of floaters for SPV panels, pathways corresponding to a minimum of 28 MW. NTPC will finance the project through own resources.
Bid documents will be available till January 25, 2019 and last date to submit these is February 13, 2019. Techno-commercial bid will be opened on February 14, 2019. Further details are available on NTPC website.
