Chinese solar power company GCL System Integration Technology Co., Ltd. (GCL-SI) and Bulgarian EPC services provider Solarpro Holding AD have completed building a 21 MW PV plant in Hungary, which they say is one of the largest PV power plants in the Eastern European country.
Switzerland based energy company, MET Group owns the plant. The 21 MW MET Dunai Solar Park has been equipped with poly PERC modules from GCL Located near Budapest at the Dunamenti Thermal Power Plant, the PV project has two single sub-projects, which have a yield target of 1,200 kWh/kW per year and are estimated to result in total energy production of 25,546 MWh annually.
