Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL) has launched a request for selection (RFS) for the 1 GW of grid connected PV power projects to be developed in Dholera Solar Park under Phase V.

Project developers selected in this tender will set up the solar projects in the Dholera Solar Park on a build-own-operate (BOO) basis on 20 plots, each with a fixed 50 MW capacity. Interested bidders may bid at least for 50 MW or in multiples of 50 MW. GUVNL will sign power purchase agreement (PPA) with the winners valid for a period of 25 years.

Details about the tender and RFS documents are available on the website of GUVNL, which will accept tender documents until February 15, 2019. Technical bids will be opened on February 16, 2019 with financial bids opening and the reverse e-auction scheduled for February 22, 2019.

Gujarat Power Corporation Limited (GPCL) is the nodal agency responsible for the implementation of the 5 GW Dholera Solar Park in Gujarat’s Dholera Special Investment Region (SIR).
