- RUMSL has issued three separate tenders, inviting bids for three solar power parks with 1.5 GW aggregate capacity
- The three projects will be located in three districts of Madhya Pradesh, namely Agar (550 MW), Neemuch (500 MW) and Shajapur (450 MW)
- Interested companies have time till December 10, 2018 to submit their bids for these projects
The Rewa Ultra Mega Solar Limited (RUMSL) is inviting bids to set up solar power parks with a cumulative capacity of 1,500 MW, all in Madhya Pradesh. All this capacity will be divided between the 550 MW Agar Solar Park in Agar district, 500 MW Neemuch Solar Park in Neemuch district and 450 MW Shajapur Solar Park in Shajapur district.
The last date to submit proposals for all these projects is December 10, 2018.
A joint venture between the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) and Madhya Pradesh Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (MPUVNL), RUMSL is in charge of developing the three solar parks. Recently, it had issued a tender inviting consultancy services to conduct environmental and social impact assessment for this 1.5 GW capacity (see Work Starts On 1.5 GW PV In Madhya Pradesh).
