The NTPC-SAIL Power Company Limited (NSPCL) is looking for an EPC contractor to set up a 7 MW PV plant, which will be located in the vicinity of Bhilai Steel Plant at Bhilai, District Durg in Chhattisgarh. NSPCL is a joint venture between National Thermal Corporation of India (NTPC) Limited and Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL).
While NTPC issued several tenders in the domestic content requirement (DCR) category, this one is an open category tender, which means EPC contractors can source solar cells and modules also from abroad.
The successful bidder will have to provide operations and maintenance services for the plant and transmission system for a period of 5 years. NSPCL will finance the subject package through its own resources.
Tender documents will be available to purchase from October 14, 2017 until November 13, 2017. Last date to submit the complete tender documents is December 15, 2017. More details are available on NTPC Tender website.
