India’s National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) has tendered an operation and maintenance contract for a power evacuation system for a solar power plant. As part of the so-called domestic content requirement (DCR), bidders for this 50 MW Rajgarh Solar PV Plant in Madhya Pradesh will need to submit a techno-commercial as well as a price proposal.
Tender documents for the project will be available to download until October 6, 2017, which is also the last date for bid submission. More details about the tender are available on NTPC’s Tender website.
The 50 MW Rajgarh Solar PV Plant entered commercial operations in April 2014.
Recently, NTPC’s cumulative commissioned solar power capacity went up to 870 MW with a 250 MW Mandsaur PV project coming online in Madhya Pradesh.
