Solarspace produces first module overseas: Over a WeChat communication, high-efficiency solar cells and module technology producer, Solarspace, said that Longqi New Energy, an overseas facility of Solarspace in Cambodia, has successfully produced its first high-efficiency crystalline silicon module. This officially marks Solarspace’s first module production overseas. Meanwhile, last year Solarspace had signed RMB 11.5 bn PV cell & diamond wire slicing deal (see China PV News Snippets)

Construction begins for Yingchen New Energy’s 4 GW PV module facility: Solar PV enterprise Yingli Solar announced via WeChat that the 4 GW photovoltaic production line of its subsidiary, Yingchen New Energy, in Tang County has begun construction. The facility is compatible to produce BIPV products and high-power modules comprising M10 and G12 PERC/TOPCon/HJT cells. Once the facility is completed, the annual production capacity of Yingchen New Energy’s photovoltaic modules will touch 6 GW, and will achieve an annual output value of over RMB 10 billion ($1.43 billion). Last year in October, Anhui Royal and Yingli Solar had partnered for 6 GW TOPCon order (see China PV News Snippets)

Oliver Solar to build 1 GW TOPCon PV module facility: High-tech enterprise specializing in research, development, design and manufacture of new energy and renewable energy products, Oliver Solar, said via WeChat that it has signed for a 1 GW photovoltaic module facility in Haiyan. With an investment of RMB 150 million ($7.1 million), and spread across an area of 22 mu, the facility will mainly produce TOPCon photovoltaic modules. The sales on completion of the facility is expected to be RMB 280 million ($40.1 million).

Ruike New Energy’s CdTe PV module conversion efficiency touches 17.3%: Subsidiary of Mingyang Smart Energy and a CdTe products company, Ruike New Energy, said through WeChat, that it has received power test certification issued by the US UL certification agency. The test results showed that its thin-film modules has reached a conversion efficiency of 17.3% (with a power of 124.3W). This is setting a new record for the highest conversion efficiency of thin-film modules in China and marks a new level of mass production of thin film modules in the county, the company added.

TÜV SÜD certifies Jinenu Solar’s 182/210 PV modules: Through WeChat, customized producer of photovoltaic modules, Jinenu Solar, said that it has received TÜV SÜD certification for its single and double glass 182/210 photovoltaic module products. Based on the technical specification standards IEC 61215 and IEC 61730, TÜV SÜD conducted a full sequence test on the single-glass and double-glass 182/210 photovoltaic modules. The  modules performed well throughout the test cycle, clearing the TÜV SÜD inspection. Meanwhile in December last year, Jinenu Solar PV production line in Tai’an  was put into operation (see China PV News Snippets).
