Beijing Energy & Beyondsun sign agreement: Beijing Energy International Holding announced that it has signed a strategic agreement with module maker Beyondsun to open multi-faceted cooperation in many fields such as new energy project design, development, EPC general contracting, power plant operation and maintenance management, PV module trade and procurement, and environmental protection engineering. Beijing Energy International Holding will be the new energy investment platform of Beijing Energy.

China installed 4.16 GW residential PV from Jan-May: As per China’s National Energy Administration (NEA), a total of 30 provinces in China have submitted residential photovoltaic project details. The statistics show that by the end of May 2021, the total 2021 installed capacity of subsidized household PV projects in China reached 4.16 GW.

China Energy new energy development reserve capacity at 1.98 GW: China Energy’s Zhejiang Branch has signed strategic cooperation framework agreements with the governments of Ouhai District, Wenzhou City and Xinchang County, Shaoxing City, respectively, adding 1.63 GW and 0.35 GW of reserve capacity. With this, the company will now focus on the development of 100 MW of PV projects, 70 MW of decentralized onshore wind power generation projects and 1.46 GW of pumped storage power plants in Ouhai District, Wenzhou City.
