Karnataka Renewable Energy Development Limited (KREDL) is looking for an EPC contractor to set up 200 MW of solar PV capacity at Pavagada Ultra Mega Solar Park. The successful bidder will have to provide an associated transmission system and comprehensive operation and maintenance of the project.

The scope of work includes design, engineering, procurement, supply, construction & erection, testing and commissioning.

The Pavagada Ultra Mega Solar Park is located in Tumkur district in Karnataka. All the clean power generated in the park will be procured by the state’s electricity supply companies (ESCOMs) for a period of 25 years.

Pre-bid meeting is scheduled for August 18, 2017, while the due date and time for submission of the request for proposal (RFP) and application fee is set as September 20, 2017. The RFP will be uploaded on the KREDL website on or after July 28, 2017.

The agency stated, “KREDL reserves the right to annul the bidding process and invite fresh bids without liability or obligation for such invitation and without assigning any reasons.”
