The three winners of NTPC’s 750 MW auction for Ananthapuramu Ultra Mega Solar Park won 250 MW capacity each but all these winning bids were higher than the record 2.44 INR/kWh bid from May 2017. Pointing out towards the fact that solar power auction tariffs in India have been going up in recent months, Mercom India says this might continue with uncertainty abound in the market unless the government takes action.
