During the 2 months of January and February in 2022, Chinese solar PV manufacturing industry produced about 110,000 tons polysilicon, and 40 GW worth of silicon wafers, out of which it exported close to 5.1 GW, according to the country’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT).
