Svevind’s 20 GW Green Hydrogen Industrial Plant Moves Forward With Investment Agreement In Up To $50 Billion Kazakhstan Project But Final Investment Decision To Come Later

Germany headquartered renewable energy developer Svevind Energy Group through its subsidiary Hyrasia One plans to build one of the world’s largest industrial plants in Kazakhstan with 20 GW electrolyzer capacity, to be powered by around 40 GW wind and solar PV plants.

The Joint Stock Company Kazakhstan Electricity and Power Market Operator (JSC Korem) has selected 147.95 MW renewable energy capacity for the 250 MW auction it held for 250 MW capacity as per the auction schedule approved by the country’s Ministry of Energy for the year 2020.
