

Adani Solar’s TOPCon module features 640 W maximum power output with 23.71% efficiency
The dual-glass bifacial module is built with 132 half-cells based on the G12R wafer format and offers an 80±5% bifaciality
IEC, UL, and BIS certifications for the module are currently in process, with commercial availability expected after certification
India-based Adani Solar showcased its ELAN SHINE TOPCon module series, based on the G12R wafer format, at Intersolar Europe 2026.
The n-type dual-glass bifacial module is built with 132 half-cells and is rated for a maximum power output of 640 W and a conversion efficiency of 23.71%. The module measures 2,382 × 1,133 × 30 mm and weighs 33.6 kg. With 2 mm glass on both sides, the module has a bifaciality of 80±5%.
In terms of warranties, the company offers a performance warranty similar to that of other mainstream TOPCon makers: a maximum power degradation of 1% in the first year and about 0.4% from year 2 onwards for 30 years. It claims 87.4% power retention at the end of 30 years. Adani Solar also offers a 12-year product warranty.
The company says the product is built to meet Europe’s latest Net-Zero Industry Act (NZIA) criteria. It adds that product certifications under IEC, UL, and BIS are currently in process, and the module’s commercial availability can be expected soon.
On a separate note, Adani Solar recently announced a similar 640 W TOPCon module that meets domestic content requirements (DCR) at a recent product launch event in India. That means not only the module, but the cells are also manufactured at its cell production facility in Mundra. Adani is one of the first ingot and wafer manufacturing companies in India, and remains the only commercial manufacturer of silicon wafers, with 2 GW operational capacity. The cumulative module shipments stand at 18 GW to date. The company is currently constructing a 10 GW ingot-to-module integrated factory.
