Fraunhofer ISE’s Head of Team Module Analytics, Dr Paul Gebhardt, said during the recent TaiyangNews Reliable PV Module Design Virtual Conference 2022, that current standard testing is not enough to ensure consistent high quality for entire lifecycle of solar modules. The industry needs better standards to avoid failures and provide good economics to customers and installers alike.
The virtual conference, that took place on Dec. 14, 2022, brought together stakeholders from different parts of the module manufacturing chain to discuss the latest findings on how to make high-quality solar panels that stand the test of time.
