• Teresa Tan joined Trina Solar Limited in January 2014 and resigned to leave by July 15, 2016

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the world’s leading integrated module manufacturer Trina Solar Limited has resigned. Teresa Tan stepped down from her post after more than two years; July 15, 2016 will be the last working day for her at Trina. Tan is said to be leaving to pursue other personal interests.

She is being replaced by Xu Ying (Merry Xu) as an interim financial officer, till the company finds a permanent replacement. Xu Ying is currently a vice president and strategy assistant to the CEO, Jifan Gao.

Gao stated, “Over the past 2.5 years, Ms. Tan has worked closely with our key management team and the board and effectively led the finance team in supporting the company’s strong growth. I would like to thank Ms. Tan for her contributions to the company and wish her continued success in her future endeavors. Ms. Xu has been with Trina Solar for more than 10 years, and she has a deep knowledge of the company and the industry, as well as sound financial expertise. We are confident she will be an effective interim CFO for the company.”

Xu has been working with Trina since 2006 and has served the company in various roles, including finance director, finance vice president, CEO office head, along with her current role. Trina stated in an official release that Xu has been part of the company’s core management team and has also been part of its recent key development initiatives.
