Germany's CIGS thin-film equipment maker Manz AG will appoint Gunnar Voss von Dahlen as the company's new CFO beginning June 1, 2017. He will replace current CFO Martin Hipp who will be leaving the company on March 31, 2017.
Martin Hipp is leaving Manz company after 14 years. "In his ten years as CFO and as colleague on the Board, he contributed significantly to the successful establishment of Manz AG on the capital market. We thank him sincerely for his commitment, his allegiance and his loyalty and wish him all the best for his professional and private future," said Dieter Manz, CEO and founder of Manz.
Voss von Dahlen will be leaving the Heidelberg Group where he is working as the Segment Financial Officer for the Segment Services of Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG.
"In Gunnar Voss von Dahlen, we have found a very experienced person to hold the CFP position of Manz AG. From his many years of experience with the Heidelberg Group, he understands the concerns of a globally operating equipment manufacturer and also has a vast amount of experience in the region of Asia, which is a very important one for us," added Dieter Manz.
This is the second big management change at Manz this year. In January 2017, the company's Vice President Sales & Marketing Antonio Schmidt left the company to join InnoLas Solutions GmbH, a German laser equipment company (see InnoLas Hires VP From Manz). Schmidt joined InnoLas as VP Business Development.
