SolaX Power’s Wide Array Of Product Offerings At Intersolar Europe 2024

SolaX Power, a Chinese photovoltaic (PV) power conversion system provider, promoted inverters and energy storage systems (ESS) for multiple application scenarios at Intersolar Europe 2024. Founded in 2012 and headquartered in Huangzhou, China, SolaX Power has its branches in the Netherlands, Germany, the UK, Australia, Japan, and the US.

Speaking to TaiyangNews, SolaX Power highlighted its residential ESS and utility-scale inverter models at the show.

Residential ESS

The company’s X3-IES series whole home backup solution includes an inverter, a battery bank, and a Hyper EV charger. The X3-IES energy storage solution features an inverter of up to 15 kW capacity, coupled with a battery bank of up to 30 kWh capacity. The company said that the system's 200% DC oversizing capability and MPPT channel of 20 A DC input current capacity enable high yields and compatibility with high-power PV modules. The hybrid storage inverter can switch to UPS mode in less than 10 ms during a grid outage, and can withstand up to 200% AC overload for up to 10 seconds. This feature ensures the safety of the household’s connected critical loads, explained SolaX Power. It added that its DC and AC side type-II SPD ensure protection against any surge generated from either side. This model also offers in-built AFCI and rapid shutdown features upon request from customers.

Utility inverter

The X3-GRAND series utility-scale string inverter, equipped with 6 MPPTs totaling 30 strings and a DC input current of up to 75 A, boasts a power range of 300 kW to 350 kW. This model is suitable for high-power modules, added the company. The key safety features incorporated into the model are an IP66-grade enclosure, built-in AC and DC lightning protection, and I-V curve scanning.

C&I ESS

The air-cooled ESS-AELIO hybrid storage solution, featuring integrated cabinet and split solutions, boasts an output AC power of 50 kW or 60 kW and a rated storage capacity range of 50 kWh to 400 kWh. The ESS-TRENE intelligent air-cooled industrial and commercial energy storage cabinet offers a power output of 100 kW and 215 kWh of storage capacity.
