

Calendar Week 20 brought another week of modest declines for the TaiyangNews PV Price Index.
The polysilicon category recorded its first decline since CW14, with n-type silicon and reusable varieties falling by 1.4% and 1.5% week-on-week (WoW), respectively
Wafer prices were flat WoW for the second consecutive week.
Cell prices have also remained unchanged since CW16.
Continuing the recent trend, the modules category posted another week of modest declines, with TOPCon modules falling by 0.7% to 2.2% WoW, while BC Module (655W+) declined by 1.2% WoW.
The 2 solar glass variants have remained stable since their declines of 5.1% (3.2 mm) and 10.2% (2.0 mm) in CW17.
The TaiyangNews PV Price Index continued to record small declines in CW20. Of the 5 listed categories, 4 are now firmly in negative territory, while modules remain the only segment still in the green year-to-date (YtD).
The data refers to average product prices in China. The data was collected by Chinese market research firm Gessey PV Consulting.
