German solar module manufacturer AEG Solar has announced a new all back contact (ABC) n-type solar module with a 40-year performance and linear performance warranty. To be launched over the next weeks, this panel can offer up to 23.6% power conversion efficiency and 460 W power range.

The AS-M1089B-GA(M10)/HV n-type module is to be available in 2 variants of glass-glass and glass-backsheet. The modules are built with 108 half-cut M10 cells measuring 182 mm x 91 mm, leading to module dimensions of 1,722 mm x 1,134 mm x 30mm and weigh 24 kg and 20.5 kg for glass-glass and glass-backsheet versions, respectively, according to the datasheet available on its website.

Part of the Electrolux Group of Sweden, AEG will offer a 40-year product and performance warranty each for the glass-glass module. For the glass-backsheet module, the manufacturer is offering a 15-year product and 30-year performance warranty. Both versions are catered towards residential and commercial installations.

The official supplier of AEG Solar modules Solar Solutions Group said, “The whole portfolio of N-type AEG solar modules is expanding to cover higher performances and formats, spanning from 108 to 120, 132 and 144 half-cut cells, ranging from 420 W to 615 W. The new portfolio, featuring the newest 30-year warranties, is characterized by the dominance of rectangular M10 half-cut cells (RM10) granting larger converting surface and higher efficiency to glass-backsheet and double glass modules.”
