The TaiyangNews PV Price Index recorded modest declines in Calendar Week 19, though these were limited to a single product category.
The polysilicon category had another stable week in CW19, with month-on-month (MoM) declines now below double digits
Following its first upward movement in several weeks in CW18, the wafer category remained flat week-on-week (WoW).
Cell prices were also unchanged WoW, with MoM declines now below 5%.
In the modules category, 6 of the 10 listed products recorded slight declines in CW19, ranging from 0.4% to 1.2% WoW.
The 2 solar glass variants have remained stable since their declines of 5.1% (3.2 mm) and 10.2% (2.0 mm) in CW17.
Despite the minor declines this week, the TaiyangNews PV Price Index appears to have largely stabilized after several weeks of downward movement. Modules remain the only segment still in positive territory YtD.
The data refers to average product prices in China. The data was collected by Chinese market research firm Gessey PV Consulting.
