US solar tracker and fixed tilt racking equipment manufacturer GameChange Solar says it has expanded its annual cumulative production capacity in the country to 24 GW with existing facilities expanded and newer ones already producing its system components.

The company does not specify individual capacities and the product portfolio of its fabs that it says are located in Michigan, Ohio, New York, New Jersey, New Orleans, Indiana, Illinois, and Kentucky.

"GameChange has always been committed to the USA market with the majority of our employees and vendors residing in the USA," stated GameChange Solar Chief Commercial Officer Derick Botha. "With our growth and the growth in the utility scale solar industry anticipated for the next decade, we have greatly expanded our USA annual capacity to 24 GW for key structural systems to directly meet the needs of our customers for domestically sourced products."

In a brief announcement, the manufacturer said the move greatly expands the country's manufacturing capacity and is also creating jobs for locals.

On its website, the company specifies that it has up to 30 GW of available production capacity for key systems.

In August 2022, the company said it will expand its US tracker production capacity by 6 GW to a total of 14 GW (see USA: 6 GW Solar Tracker Manufacturing Fab Planned).
