World leading solar manufacturer LONGi Green Energy Technology shipped 85.06 GW monocrystalline silicon wafers and 46.76 GW monocrystalline modules in 2022, and plans to ship 130 GW wafers and 85 GW of cell and modules in 2023.
Of the wafer shipments last year, it sold 42.52 GW externally while using 42.54 GW internally. Module sales include 46.08 GW for external and 680 MW for self-use.
During the year, its operating income increased by 60.03% annually to RMB 128.998 billion exceeding RMB 100 billion mark for the 1st time, while net profit went up 63.02% to RMB 14.812 billion. Its Q1/2023 revenue was RMB 28.319 billion.
By the end of 2022, LONGi's monocrystalline wafer production capacity reached 133 GW, cell capacity 50 GW and module capacity went up to 85 GW, according to the company's 2022 annual report.
Going forward, it aims to have an annual production capacity of 190 GW for monocrystalline silicon wafers, 110 GW for cells and 130 GW of modules by the end of 2023. LONGi's operating income target for 2023 is to exceed RMB 160 billion.
