  • Mondragon Assembly brings out a high-precision Tabber & Stringer machine with Electrically Conductive Adhesive (ECA) technology
  • The new machine is capable of producing up to 2,600 HJT cells per hour
  • Key factor of this new machine is flexibility as it can produce strings of up to 15BB with cell sizes of up to M12 (210mm)
  • Also, it is able to handle cells as thin as 110 µm and is compatible with Gapless and Paving technologies

Spain headquartered solar PV equipment manufacturer Mondragon Assembly announced that it has brought out a high-precision Tabber & Stringer machine with Electrically Conductive Adhesive (ECA) technology, which is capable of producing up to 2,600 HJT cells per hour. Done in collaboration with CEA at INES, the machine aims at enhancing the HJT high-efficiency cell technology.

The key factor of this new machine is flexibility as it can produce strings of up to 15BB with cell sizes of up to M12 (210mm), even as it is able to handle cells as thin as 110 µm. It is also compatible with Gapless and Paving technologies.

Thanks to the multiple vision controls it has been fitted with, this new machine guarantees precision and quality of the manufactured strings. This in turn allows to increase the efficiency of the machine and obtain better manufacturing results in less time.

Mondragon had collaborated with CEA at INES a while back. CEA is a research institute in France and has one of its departments playing a significant role in the French National Institute for Solar Energy (INES). The collaboration intends to strengthen Mondragon's position in terms of new technologies in the field of high-efficiency photovoltaic modules, with a particular focus on heterojunction.

Earlier in July this year, Mondragon had introduced a new bussing machine called IC-120 (see New Automatic Bussing Machine From Mondragon Assembly)
