Nextracker Inc., the US based solar tracker manufacturer and supplier, has secured an order for 125 MW of solar trackers from Spain based PV developer Solaria Energia y Medio Ambiente.

To complete this order, Nextracker will supply its smart solar tracker technology NX Horizon to be deployed by its Spanish counterpart for numerous project sites in Spain. Solaria said it chose single-axis trackers from Nextracker for their 'proven wind design, engineering, and testing expertise'.

Solaria did not mention any specific projects where it will use these trackers. However, the company does have big plans for the future as it aims to report 18 GW installed solar PV capacity by 2030, with 10 GW to come up in Spain alone (see Spanish Solar Developer Aims For 18 GW Capacity By 2030).

Nextracker claims to have close to 50 GW of its NX Horizon capacity installed for projects around the globe. Very recently it bagged a 830 MW order for its NX horizon trackers for phase I of Janauba Solar Complex in Minas Gerais in Brazil (see NEXTracker Gets 830 MW Solar Tracker Order For Brazil).
