NTPC Seeking Interested Bidders To Build 735 MW Solar Power Capacity At Nokh Solar Park In Rajasthan As 3 Projects Of 245 MW Each

The National Thermal Power Corporation Limited (NTPC), India's state backed energy company, is looking for interested companies to set up 735 MW of solar power capacity at Nokh Solar Park in the state of Rajasthan.

The tendered capacity of 735 MW needs to be built in the form of 3 projects of 245 MW each with the winning EPC companies expected to design, engineer, manufacture, supply, install and commission the projects using solar PV cells and modules that meet domestic content requirements (DCR). Comprehensive operation and maintenance (O&M) for 3 years will also form part of the job.

NTPC will be accepting submissions to this tender till February 22, 2021, as per the notice issued.

This tender notification follows 190 MW grid connected solar PV power project the utility tendered in January 2021 with last date to submit bids being February 10, 2021 (see India PV News Snippets: NTPC, SECI, REIL, Amplus, Chandigarh).
