Denmark has selected 3 projects each for wind and solar power technologies in the tech-neutral tender it had launched in September 2018, originally offering 140 MW with ceiling tariff of DKK 0.13 ($0.020) per kWh (see Joint Solar Wind Tender For 140 MW In Denmark). The Danish Energy Agency (Energystyrelsen) announced the results on Dec. 3.
It received 17 offers in total, comprising 260 MW for wind power and 280 MW for solar power systems. The agency finally selected 6 projects with 165 MW awarded to wind and 104 MW to solar. The weighted average tariff premium is DKK 2.28 øre ($0.35) per kWh.
Winning installations need to come online within 2 years from the date when contracts are signed for a period of 20 years. The list of winners is available on the website of the agency.
