Bosnia Issues Tender For 65 MW PV

• Reuters reported that Serb Republic in Bosnia has tendered 65 MW solar power plant capacity
• The plant will be located near the town of Ljubinje and energy generated by the plant will be sold in the open market
• It will be built for a total investment of 150 million Bosnian Mark ($89.4 million)
• International and local players have time until July 27, 2018 to submit their bids

A tender for a 65 MW solar power plant has been launched in Bosnia. It will be the Eastern European country's largest PV system so far. The autonomous region of Serb Republic is responsible for the tender, according to Reuters.

The plant will be located near the town of Ljubinje and will be built for an investment of 150 million Bosnian Mark (BAM) ($89.4 million). The facility is supposed to generate 104 GWh of clean energy annually. The power will be sold on the open market.

Reuters reported that the future operator will holds a 50-year concession to operate the plant. Last date to submit bids in this international tender is July 27, 2018.
