JinkoSolar Progresses With Projects In Japan & More From Solar East, Jinghua, Concord

JinkoSolar makes progress with 120 MW portfolio projects in Japan; To advance its PV business, Solar East to increase subsidiary capital;  Jinghua New Energy's 0.5 GW new PV module project with an investment of RMB 100 million advances.

JinkoSolar progresses with projects in Japan: China-based vertically integrated module maker JinkoSolar announced that a 30 MW solar PV power plant empowered by its high-efficient solar panels has begun commercial operations in Kumamoto Ken, Japan. This ground-mounted plant is part of a project portfolio totalling to 120 MW, being funded by the third largest investment management company in the US, and developed and co-funded by affiliate of EverStream Capital Management – Enfinity Global. JinkoSolar is responsible for supplying panels and after-sales service. Gener Miao, CMO of Jinksolar, said that by combining 100 GW of global track-record and renewables experience and with the cooperation of Japanese local team, they believe they can support Japan to make renewable energy as its major power source by 2030.

Solar East increases capital of subsidiary to RMB 90 mn: Solar East announced plans to use its own funds to increase the registered capital of its subsidiary Solar East Photovoltaic Company to RMB 90 million ($14.24 million). The capital increase is meant to promote the expansion of the photovoltaic business and is in line with the company's overall strategic development plan.

Jinghua's 0.5 GW PV module project advances: Solar PV module manufacturing enterprise Yangzhou Jinghua New Energy's new PV module production project has advanced smoothly, the company said. It is understood that the total investment of the project is about RMB 100 million ($15.82 million) with a production capacity of 500 MW per year.

Concord announces 2021 Annual Result: Announcing its 2021 annual results, solar and wind power operator Concord New Energy Group said that it has achieved a total revenue of RMB 2.1 billion ($0.33 billion), accounting for a 9.1% increase over the same period last year. The total constructed capacity during this period was 1,833.5 MW, and the Group also had in operation 13 subsidiary-owned new power plants with a total installed capacity of 873.5 MW. Out of this, 3 were PV power plants with a total installed capacity of 240 MW.
