JinkoSolar bags Guangdong Energy's 100 MW Tiger Neo Panel supply contract; Chint Anneng to promote residential rooftop distributed PV power stations; LONGi to purchase 203,600 tons of polysilicon materials from Tongwei.
JinkoSolar to supply 100 MW panels to Guangdong Energy: Module supplier JinkoSolar announced that it will be supplying 100 MW of its n-type Tiger Neo solar panels for Guangdong Energy Group in its upcoming project located in Huizhou. Tiger Neo modules was selected for this project because of its high efficiency, improved field performance and reliability from lower temperature coefficient, lower degradation, extreme low LID and LeTID, and high bifacial rate for bifacial series. Last month, JinkoSolar's Haining base had produced its first Tiger Neo's N-type cell (see China PV News Snippets)
Chint signs PV power station development agreements: Smart energy solutions provider Chint Group announced that its holding subsidiary Chint Anneng has signed a cooperation framework agreement with relevant government departments. The company will now work with Hebei, Henan, Shanxi and other places to jointly promote residential rooftop distributed photovoltaic systems. The project involves an installed capacity of 1.6 GW.
LONGi & Tongwei sign 203,600 tons of polysilicon materials purchase order: Vertically integrated solar PV company LONGi announced it signed a polysilicon material purchase agreement with integrated solar PV manufacturer Tongwei. From January 2022 to December 2023, LONGi will purchase 203,600 tons of polysilicon from Tongwei. The total contract value is estimated to be about RMB 44.2 billion ($6.95 billion) (tax excluded).
