Zoomlight & Yantai partner for rooftop distributed PV project: Zoomlight, an energy internet enterprise under Jolywood, and Xiaogi Town in Yantai City have signed a cooperation for a 'whole-town' rooftop distributed photovoltaic project to the scale of 100 MW. This is the third town Zoomlight has signed up in Yantai City. The other two are Panshidian with a proposed project scale of 200 MW and Guocheng with a proposed scale of 100 MW.

Shuangliang to sell 1.3 bn silicon wafers to Runyang: China headquartered solar PV production equipment maker Shuangliang Eco-Energy announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary Shuangliang Silicon Materials (Baotou) will be selling 1.3 billion monocrystalline wafers to Jiangsu Runyang Yueda between Jan 1, 2022 & Dec. 31, 2024. Based on the average price of monocrystalline wafers announced in September, the total sales amount is expected to be RMB 8.33 billion ($1.3 billion)

GCL Integrated forecasts losses in Q3/2021: Announcing its first three quarters performance forecast, GCL System Integration Technology, which is part of GCL – the international energy conglomerate specializing in clean and sustainable energy -, said that it has an estimated loss of RMB 2.50 million to RMB 142.50 million ($0.39 million to $22.25 million) in the third quarter, and an estimated loss of RMB 25,000 to RMB 390 million in the first three quarters. The company said that, among other reasons, the loss was mainly because the prices of raw and auxiliary materials were quite volatile, and the supply of upstream silicon material was insufficient.
