Shuangliang Eco-Energy Wins RMB 411 Million Reduction Furnace Bid

China headquartered solar PV production equipment maker Shuangliang Eco-Energy's subsidiary, Jiangsu Shuangliang New Energy Equipment, has received the bid-winning document from Xinjiang Qiya Silicon Industry Co., Ltd; PVInfoLink reports rise in polysilicon wafers price.

Shuangliang Eco-Energy wins RMB 411 million reduction furnace bid: China headquartered solar PV production equipment maker Shuangliang Eco-Energy said in an announcement, that its subsidiary, Jiangsu Shuangliang New Energy Equipment, has received the bid-winning document from Xinjiang Qiya Silicon Industry Co., Ltd. It confirms that the subsidiary has won the bid for the 100,000-ton reduction furnace project in the first phase of the 200,000-ton annual high-purity crystalline silicon project. The winning bid amount is estimated to be about RMB 411 million ($61.71 million). Last month, Shuangliang Eco-Energy had signed a RMB 324 million sales deal (see China PV News Snippets)

Rise in polysilicon wafers price: As per a report released by PVInfoLink, the average price of polycrystalline silicon wafer (157mm) is now priced at RMB 3.05/piece ($0.46/piece), an increase of 3.4%.
