TaiyangNews 1st Bifacial & Solar Tracker Conference from July 05 – 06 2022 with China's leading Module Makers; Chinese company finished installing Qatar's 800 MW PV project; JinkoSolar launches 20 GW Qinghai project; Guorun Energy 3 GW HJT project begins; Talesun subsidiary inks RMB 109.17 million module order.

Just few days for TaiyangNews first Bifacial & Solar Tracker Conference: Bifacial Solar & Solar Trackers have lifted utility scale to another level. While each technology results in significantly higher yields on its own, combining bifacial and trackers results in even greater output for utility-scale solar. No wonder then that bifacial tracking systems have become a standard for large-scale solar plants in very sunny areas. For this Conference that will be spread across 2 days, from July 05 – 06 2022 (9.00 am to 12:00 CEST), we have invited experts from different parts of the value chain of bifacial solar and leading suppliers of trackers to share the latest updates on these key components of utility-scale solar power plants. Presenters include LONGi, Trina Solar, JinkoSolar, Nextracker, TrinaTracker, Antaisolar, Hangzhou First. For Free Registration, click here.

Qatar PV power station connected to grid: Qatar's 800.15 MW photovoltaic project has been connected to the grid for power generation. This project has been contracted to PowerChina Guizhou Engineering, and is the largest solar power station in the country today. It uses tracking systems and bifacial modules. The project is also supposed to be Qatar's first non-fossil fuel power station that will be operational before the 2022 World Cup.

JinkoSolar 20 GW Qinghai wafer project launched: Module supplier JinkoSolar said that its Qinghai Xining project with an annual output of 20 GW of tie-rod cutting has been officially launched. It is expected that the facility will reach full production by September 30, 2022. Touted to be the first in the industry to draw N-type products in a 36-inch thermal field, the project has become an important part of the company's N-type production capacity integration layout. JinkoSolar will present about N-type Modules to Reduce System LCOE at the upcoming TaiyangNews Bifacial & Solar Trackers Virtual Conference on July 5/6. For Free Registration, click here.

Guorun Energy begins its construction of 3 GW HJT project: Private enterprise investment group in Shandong, Guorun Energy Group announced that it has successfully held the groundbreaking ceremony of its first heterojunction cell manufacturing project. The total planned investment of the project is about RMB 1.8 billion ($0.27 billion).  On completion, the project will be producing 3 GW of high-efficiency heterojunction cells per year.

Talesun subsidiary inks RMB 109.17 million module order: Chinese solar PV company Talesun Solar said that its subsidiary Tengyou Solar will be supplying BISTAR series photovoltaic modules worth RMB 109.17 million ($16.3 million) to MEJ ENERGY. MEJ ENERGY will be using the modules for the construction of photovoltaic power plants in North Macedonia. Earlier this year, Talesun Solar had talked about expanding its existing production capacity with 5 GW HJT cell and 5 GW module manufacturing (see Talesun Plans 5 GW Heterojunction Line)
