Jolywood awarded by EuPD Research: Chinese bifacial solar cell and module manufacturer Jolywood said that it was awarded the Top Photovoltaic Brand award by German market research company EuPD Research. The selection, the company said, based on global photovoltaic installation monitoring, and after research and evaluation on multiple dimensions such as brand recognition, product performance and service quality of enterprises, Jolywood was selected.
Chint inks cell and module manufacturing project deals: As per local media reports, Chint Solar, a subsidiary of the CHINT group engaged in PV power station development and PV module production, will be constructing a 12 GW cell and 18 GW module project in Haining City. Spread across an area of 1,180 mu, the total investment of the project is pegged at RMB 12 billion ($1.7 billion), of which RMB 8 billion ($1.1 billion) will be invested in fixed assets. Tongwei Solar signs RMB 120 million polysilicon order: Integrated solar PV manufacturer from China, Tongwei Solar, announced that the company has signed two major sales contracts. The company went on to say that from Tongwei Solar subsidiaries:
Tongwei Solar has signed up about five silicon supply deals, amounting to about RMB 254 billion ($37.8 billion), since the beginning of this year.
