JA Solar DeepBlue 3.0 performs 1.9% better than super-large module: The half-year power generation data of the Energy Yield Test conducted by Solar PV panel manufacturer JA Solar and TÜV NORD has been released. This aim of this Energy Yield Test, which runs from February 2021-22 at CPVT National Photovoltaic Experimental Base in Yinchuan, is to verify and study the power generation and operating temperature performance of different types of modules. The released data shows that during February to August 2021, the power generation capacity of DeepBlue 3.0 (based on 182mm wafers) was 1.9 % higher than that of the super-large modules due to the differences of operating current and internal resistance loss of the modules. In June 2021, JA Solar had launched a new module in its DeepBlue 3.0 series calling it DeepBlue 3.0 Pro (see DeepBlue 3.0 Pro New Module Launched By JA Solar)

Runjian to invest RMB 102 mn in new energy JV: Runjian, an integrated service provider of ICT (Information Communication & Technology) in China,  announced its intention of establishing a joint venture with other unrelated parties. The new venture, Runjian New Energy, will have a registered capital of RMB 200 million ($30.98 million). Towards this, Runjian will contribute RMB 102 million ($15.80 million) and will hold 51% stake. The focus of the new company will be to carry out in-depth business expansion in new energy development, consulting design, power application technology, and power Internet of Things.

Chint to sell up to 3,000 MW household PV assets: Smart energy solutions provider Chint said in a release that its holding subsidiary Chint Aneng intends to sell some of its household photovoltaic power generation system assets, not exceeding an installed capacity of 3,000 MW. This move is aimed at further optimizing the company's business model and asset structure. Recently, Chint Aneng had signed 1.6 GW distributed rooftop PV agreements with about 60 township governments (see China PV News Snippets)

Concord's 100 MW PV power station project connected to grid: The 100 MW Dachaidan photovoltaic power station constructed by solar and wind power operator Concord New Energy Group Limited has been successfully connected to the grid for power generation. The project is located on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau at an altitude of 3,400 meters west of Delingha City and is spread across an area of 3,250 mu. To achieve the desired power plant revenue, 670 W ultra-high power 210 modules and Sineng Electric's 250 kW current string inverter were selected, both of which contribute to higher power generation and reliability.
