Shangji Automation 2021 Q3 operating revenue growth: Wuxi Shangji Automation has released its third quarter report, and as per the report, the PV production equipment maker and mono-wafer company has achieved an operating revenue of RMB 3.9 billion ($0.61 billion), which is an increase of 363% year-on-year. Guangdong Hydropower & Qinghai sign 1.2 GW PV project agreement: In an announcement, renewable energy engineering constructor Guangdong No.2 Hydropower Engineering said it signed a cooperation agreement with the People's Government of Guncha County, Qinghai Province. Both parties plan to jointly promote and develop 1.2 GW photovoltaic power generation projects in Gangcha County, on a planned site are of 20,000 mu and a total investment of RMB 6 billion ($0.94 billion). In May, Guangdong Hydropower's subsidiary had signed a framework agreement for cooperative development of photovoltaic power generation projects with Nanyang City, Henan Province to the tune of RMB 2.5 billion ($0.39 billion) (see China PV News Snippets: Guangdong, LONGi, Mingyang, Jilin)
Huazhu & Horad partner for 5 GW PV module equipment: National high-tech enterprise Horad Group and photovoltaic equipment manufacturer Huazhu Optoelectronics have signed a 5 GW PV module intelligent equipment cooperation agreement in Shanxi province, according to As Photovoltaic Network News. Supposed to be the largest PV module intelligent manufacturing project in the province, the factory will be spread across 140,000 square meters and has 10 intelligent production lines, whose focus is mainly on 182 & 210 large size cells, and producing high-efficiency TOPCon modules. The total investment of the project is RMB 1.07 billion ($17 billion).
Unisun Energy & NIO Power to create distributed PV green power chain: Netherlands-based clean energy group Unisun Energy Holding and mobile internet-based power solution NIO Power have signed an agreement to build and install rooftop distributed photovoltaic power plants for NIO Power's second-generation exchange stations nationwide. It is expected that by the end of 2025, NIO Power will have built over 3,000 charging and switching stations, and Unisun will have installed rooftop distributed photovoltaic power plants with an average capacity of 100 KW. The total capacity on completion will be about 300 MW. Earlier this year, pan-European independent power producer Alternus Energy had acquired, for cash and shares, a 60% stake in Unisun (see Alternus Buys 60% Stake In Unisun Energy)
Q3 report of Flat Glass for 2021 announced: Disclosing its third quarterly report, China based Flat Glass Group said that it has achieved a total operating revenue of RMB 6.34 billion ($0.99 billion) in the 9 months of 2021, up 57.8% year-on-year.
