JinkoSolar attends G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors Seminar; Yingli Solar's 2 GW module project put into operation; CGD Fukang Luneng 1 GW green project begins in Fukang city; DAS Solar launches 3 series of high-efficiency N-type TOPCon PV cell module products.

JinkoSolar attends Sustainable Finance Climate Summit: Module supplier JinkoSolar announced via WeChat that it was invited to attend the G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors Seminar on Climate Transformation and Sustainable Financing. At the seminar, the company stressed that investments should be concentrated on high-return, innovative and sustainable projects to achieve sustainable financing. The focus of the Meeting was on the importance of sustainable financing for future global economic development, and the commitment of the G20 countries to implement the roadmap towards sustainable financing.

Yingli Solar 2 GW PV modules project put into operation: The 2 GW high-efficiency photovoltaic modules manufacturing project of solar PV enterprise Yingli Solar in Tongxin has been put into operation, local media reports said. The investment of this project is about RMB 390 million ($57.8 million), and once put into production is expected to create over 200 jobs and generate an annual output value of about RMB 3 billion ($0.45 billion).

CGD Fukang Luneng 1 GW green energy project begins: State-owned enterprise China Green Development Group (CGDG) said its Fukang Luneng 1 GW green energy base project has begun in Fukang city. The project plans to build 100,000 kilowatts of solar thermal with 900,000 kilowatts of photovoltaics through the supporting energy storage promotion path model. Once the project is completed, it is expected to provide 1.675 billion kWh of clean energy every year, which can be used for 135 times of grid peaking.

DAS Solar launches DAON brand: Chinese solar PV module and cell supplier DAS Solar released its N-type Product White Paper and also launched 3 series of high-efficiency N-type TOPCon PV cell module products under the DAON brand. These three products cater to household distributed roofs, industrial and commercial roofs, and centralized power station projects. The products have a bifacial ratio of over 85%, and hence the power generation gain can be as high as 30%, which can lower the cost of electricity for the owner, the company added.
