Chint Astronergy's Thailand phase II project's 1st module out: Chint Solar Astronergy Thailand's rolled out its 1st 210mm high efficiency module under phase II on August 18, 2022, after the 1st 210mm solar cell was produced on August 16, 2022. The phase II project includes an annual output of 210mm cells and modules, each with 1.5 GW capacity. The Vice President of Chint New Energy Technology Lu Zhenyu said the phase II project in Thailand is a timely move of the company, in line with the development of overseas PV market and business to increase the brand's overseas influence.
JinkoSolar's Sichuan manufacturing update: Vertically integrated solar module manufacturer JinkoSolar has said its production capacity in China's Sichuan province have been temporarily affected due to the local government's decision to ration power to deal with the local power shortage. JinkoSolar says the province-wide power rationing measures came into effect from August 15, 2022.
