Suzhou Boamax to invest in HJT facilities: Industrial grade structural CNC sheet metal products manufacturer and seller, Suzhou Boamax Technologies Group Co., Ltd., announced that it will be building a 2 GW thin wafer production line, 2 GW photovoltaic heterojunction cell, and 2 GW photovoltaic heterojunction module facilities in the Etuoke Economic Development Zone. The investment is likely to come up to RMB 1.8 billion ($0.25 billion) and will be constructed between April 2023 to April 2024.

Trina to raise RMB 8.8 billion for Czochralski mono projects: Chinese solar module manufacturer Trina Solar announced that its application for the issuance of convertible corporate bonds to unspecified objects complies with the issuance conditions, listing conditions and information disclosure requirements. This was reviewed by the Shanghai Stock Exchange's Science and Technology Innovation Board Listing Committee at its 87th Listing Committee Review Meeting 2022. As per the prospectus released by Trina, the amount of funds to be raised will not exceed RMB 8.8 billion. After deducting issuance costs, the net proceeds will be invested in 35 GW Czochralski mono crystalline silicon project, and to replenish working capital and repay bank loans. Jingyang & Sichuan Gaojing RMB 252 million equipment deal: Straight-pull silicon single crystal growth furnaces manufacturer Jingyang said that it has signed a contract with photovoltaic ingot/wafer manufacturer Sichuan Gaojing Solar Technology Co., Ltd for the procurement of related equipment worth RMB 251.7 million. From January next year, partial deliveries would begin.

Huitian New Materials to invest RMB 21 million in expansion: Adhesives and new materials company Huitian New Material stated that it plans to invest RMB 21 million ($2.9 million) to build a new twin-screw automatic production line. This line will increase the production capacity of photovoltaic single-component silicone sealants by about 30,000 tons per year for the company. By March 2023, the production line is expected to be completed and put into operation.
