DAS Solar & Shougang Casey Steel to focus on PV special steel; Autowell & Jinko ink RMB 96 million deal; China National PV & Energy Storage Experimental Platform releases data.
DAS Solar partners with Shougang Casey Steel: Chinese solar PV module and cell maker DAS Solar said via WeChat communication that agreed with Shougang Casey Steel Co., Ltd. to conduct research on photovoltaic special steel and the development of deep-processing products. They will also jointly establish a Photovoltaic New Material Technology Center focusing on photovoltaic brackets, photovoltaic module steel frames, BIPV (Building Integrated Photovoltaic) and other products.
Autowell to sell JinkoSolar multi-busbar marking and welding machine: Automation equipment manufacturer Autowell announced that it will be selling module supplier JinkoSolar multi-busbar welding all-in-one machines. The total contract value will be about RMB 96 million ($13.7 million). In October 2022, Autowell and JinkoSolar had already signed a grid-connection production equipment contract worth RMB 140 million (see China PV News Snippets)
China National PV & Energy Storage Experimental Platform releases data: The consultation meeting of the National Photovoltaic and Energy Storage Experimental Platform (Daqing Base) was held.
