CTG 830 MW PV Project Begins Construction In Sichuan & More From Shuangliang Eco-Energy, Hunan Huamin, China Jushi

China Three Gorges Corporation begins construction of 2 new energy projects; Shuangliang Eco-Energy wins Tongwei's RMB 263.7 million pre-winning bid; Hunan Huamin signs procurement with Huasun New Materials and Pengzhan New Energy; China Jushi to establish new company for PV projects.

CTG 830 MW PV project begins construction in Sichuan: Clean energy group China Three Gorges Corporation in a WeChat communication said that 2 of its new energy projects have begun construction in Sichuan. They are the 330 MW and 500 MW photovoltaic power generation projects in Huili City and Daofu County, respectively. With an investment of RMB 4.23 billion ($0.61 billion), the projects are expected to produce about 1.4 billion kWh of clean electricity every year on completion and will save about 436,000 tons of standard coal. Shuangliang Eco-Energy receives pre-winning bid from Tongwei: China headquartered solar PV production equipment maker Shuangliang Eco-Energy announced that its subsidiary – Jiangsu Shuangliang New Energy – has received a pre-winning bid notice from leading Chinese silicon maker Tongwei. The bid is for the second phase of Yunnan Tongwei's polysilicon facility, which will produce about 200,000 tons of high-purity crystalline silicon project every year. The pre-winning bid is for RMB 263.7 million ($37.9 million).

Hunan Huamin seals ingot/wafer sales deal: High-tech enterprise with two main busineses of new materials and digital technology Hunan Huamin Holding Group said in an announcement that its holding subsidiary Hongxin Technology has got into a procurement deal with Huasun New Materials and Pengzhan New Energy. With this deal, Huasun New Materials plans to purchase 1,512 tons of monocrystalline silicon rods from Hongxin Technology from January to December 2023, while Pengzhan New Energy plans to purchase 50 million monocrystalline silicon wafers from Hongxin Technology during the same period of time.

China Jushi to establish new company for PV projects: Fiberglass business company China Jushi said that  it plans to establish a new company, Zhejiang Jushi New Energy Co., Ltd. (tentative name). This company is expected to be solely responsible for the construction and operation of photovoltaic power generation and wind power projects. This is in line with the future investment projects of China Jushi in the field of clean energy.
