LONGi to take part in TaiyangNews Conference on 31 Jan: Luka Qiu, Product Promoting Manager of LONGi Solar will be speaking on the topic: 2022 – A Year of Solar Efficiency Records. Looking Back and Forth, at the TaiyangNews Solar Module Innovations Conference. The Conference will take place on January 31, 2023 from 09.30 to 13.30 CET and will see world leading vertically integrated PV panel manufacturers discuss innovations that are taking place in solar module technology. Some of the other companies that will be taking part are Trina Solar, JA Solar, Jinko Solar, Astronergy, DASolar. DMEGC approves 12 GW cells & 5 GW modules facility: Photovoltaic equipment manufacturer and seller Hengdian Group DMEGC Magnetics Co announced that it has reviewed and approved a 12 GW high efficiency cell facility and also a 5 GW high efficiency module facility. For the first and second phase of the high efficiency cell facility, the company's subsidiary – Sichuan DMEGC New Energy – intends to invest about RMB 3.5 billion ($0.52 billion). Meanwhile for the high efficiency module facility, the company plans to establish a subsidiary with PV equipment manufacturer, Dongyang DMEGC New Energy in Lianyungang. The subsidiary will invest about RMB 899 million ($132.5 million) in the 5 GW facility.

Henan released Dec 2022 power consumption statistics: As per the statistics released by Henan, the electricity consumption of the province in December 2022 was 34.773 billion kwh, a year-on-year increase of 5.89%. In the same month, the power generation was 29.698 billion kwh, a year-on-year increase of 6.72%. Out of this, the power generation from solar energy was 1.656 billion kwh, a year-on-year increase of 44.92%.
