Tongwei signs 100 MW PV module deal with Austrian Minlea: Integrated solar PV manufacturer from China, Tongwei Solar announced that its overseas team has introduced its solar module products to Austrian photovoltaic supplier Minlea at the Energie Sparmesse Expoenergy exhibition. This then led to both the companies signing a supply deal of 100 MW. This deal is significant because with this, Tongwei modules penetrate the European market.

Jinko Jingcai BIPV alliance launched: Over a WeChat communication, module supplier JinkoSolar, said that it held the launching ceremony of Jingcai BIPV Alliance in Haining. This has been done under the guidance of the Steel Branch of China Construction Metal Association and the Zhejiang Provincial PV Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance. The BPIV Alliance, led by JinkoSolar, will bring together construction enterprises, investors, EPC, capital parties and other enterprises, with a common goal of conducting in-depth exchanges on developing BIPV. On the launch day, JinkoSolar also managed to bag 400 MW supply orders for its Jinko Crystal BIPV solution from 14 companies.
Shangji Automation signs RMB 13.6 sales deals: PV production equipment maker and wafer company Shangji Automation announced that it has recently signed two long-term sales deals amounting to RMB 13.6 billion ($1.97 billion). Here are the details:

SolarPlus to build factory in Kuming: Photovoltaic equipment manufacturer, SolarPlus, announced via WeChat that it will be building a factory in Dongchuan, Kunming. The factory will have an investment of about RMB 10 billion ($1.4 billion), and will produce 5 GW high-efficiency photovoltaic modules, 5 GW photovoltaic cells and 4 GWh energy storage batteries.
