China Huaneng to develop 3,400 MW project: Power sources developer China Huaneng Group's Henan Branch, after signing an agreement with Sanmenxia City, is all set to develop the Huaneng-Lingbao Green Energy Industry Base project with an installed capacity of approximately 3,400 MW, the company announced. It will also invest and construct a 650 MW photovoltaic project in Mianchi County. Earlier this year, Libo County and China Huaneng Group had signed a 400 MW PV power plant project construction framework agreement (see China PV News Snippets: Deli, LONGi China Huaneng, Hangzhou)

Xiejiaji partners with Longyuan & Trina for PV development: The People's Government of Xiejiaji District has got into a solar new energy investment and development agreement with Longyuan Construction Group and J Jiangsu Trina Smart Distributed Energy. The total investment of the project is RMB 1 billion ($0.16 billion). Longyuan Construction is a listed housing construction company in China, while Jiangsu Trina is a subsidiary of Chinese solar module manufacturer Trina Solar. With this partnership, all the parties will come together to develop new energy projects and promote the construction of rooftop distributed PV.

Trina subsidiary receives RMB 1120.4 mn refund from the US: Chinese solar module manufacturer Trina Solar announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary Trina Solar (U.S.), Inc., has received a total of RMB 1,120.4 million ($175.6 million), including interest of RMB 198.4 million ($31.1 million) from the US Customs for a "double reverse bond". With this, the company net profit for 2021 will increase by approximately RMB 150 million ($23.51 million). The company stated that it will continue to actively participate in the "dual reverse" administrative review in accordance with the provisions of the US law. The final result has not yet been disclosed and there are also uncertainties in the subsequent actual tax payable and the amount to be refunded or to be paid, the company added.

Shuangliang Eco-Energy subsidiary bags RMB 178 mn polysilicon order: China headquartered solar PV production equipment maker Shuangliang Eco-Energy said that its subsidiary, Jiangsu Shuangliang New Energy Equipment, has won the tender for the first phase of the 50,000 ton high-purity polysilicon reduction furnace installation project of Ningxia Run Sunshine Silicon Material Technology Co., Ltd. The project is worth RMB 178 million ($27.90 million).
