LONGi At TaiyangNews Solar & Sustainability Conference & More From Lingda Group

Lingda Group releases 2022 annual report: Announcing its 2022 annual report, new energy development company, Lingda Group, said that it has achieved:

  • an operating income of RMB 1.5 billion ($0.22 billion), a year-on-year increase of 47.94%, and
  • a net profit of RMB 16.9 million ($2.47 million), a significant reduction in losses by 76.17% year-on-year

Lingda Group said over 90% of its revenue came from its PERC monocrystalline silicon solar cell business run by its wholly-owned subsidiary, cell maker Jiayue Solar. In 2022, the company's monocrystalline silicon production capacity was 423.5 million pieces, and the actual output was 353.4 million pieces, a year-on-year increase of 30.99%. With this, the company achieved sales of 350.7288 million cells, which was a year-on-year increase of 30.97%. This resulted in sales revenue of RMB 1.5 billion ($0.22 billion), a year-on-year increase of 51.88%. Today, the company has about 636.04 million pieces of monocrystalline silicon pieces under development. The planned production capacity is expected to be about 1.075 billion pieces.
