JA Solar partners with Oriental Yuhong for distributed photovoltaics: With Chinese vertically integrated solar module manufacturer JA Solar signing a cooperation agreement with waterproof systems service provider Oriental Yuhong, both the companies will now promote the development of distributed projects and its related products. Speaking at the occasion, President Xu Limin of Oriental Yuhong said that while aiming for carbon peak and carbon neutral goals, the integration of low-carbon photovoltaic energy with buildings is the general trend, and he expected both companies to use their strengths towards this.

SPIC PV installed capacity exceeds 35 GW: The Chinese State Power Investment Corporation (SPIC) has stated that its installed capacity of photovoltaic power generation has increased six times since 2016 and now exceeds 35 GW, and the cumulative power generation of photovoltaics exceeds 130 billion kWh, according to a Photovoltaic Network News report. This has contributed to the reduction of carbon dioxide emissions by about 100 million tons.

CECEP Solar to transfer 60% of subsidiary equity: China Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Group (CECEP) Solar said that its wholly-owned subsidiary, CECEP Solar Technology Co., Ltd. now holds 60% equity of CECEP Shanxi Lu'an Photovoltaic Agricultural Technology Co for a transaction amount of RMB 114.6 million ($17.78 million), a Photovoltaic Network News report stated. The project land used by CECEP Shanxi was basic farmland, and with this transaction, the company will be able to fulfil the commitments under China Energy Conservation's Letter of Commitment on the Acquisition of Related Assets Involving Basic Farmland.
