JinkoSolar forays into green hydrogen: Solar module manufacturer JinkoSolar Holding announced that it has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with SINOPEC STAR, which is a Chinese petroleum and chemical company. Both companies will jointly develop solar-to-hydrogen plants to supply green hydrogen. This project marks a significant milestone for both JinkoSolar, traditionally an integrated wafer-to-module makers,  and SINOPEC STAR.

Beijing Jingneng to build 1 GW wind-solar hydrogen project: In an announcement, Beijing Jingneng Clean Energy Co., Limited said that it has commenced the construction of a 500 MW wind and photovoltaic power generation project with hydrogen production in Abag Banner and a 500 MW wind power generation project in Sonid Left Banner, both in Inner Mongolia. With a total investment amount of approximately RMB 7 billion ($1.1 billion) and a total installed capacity of approximately 1,000 MW, the projects are expected to be completed by the end of 2023. The projects have obtained relevant approvals.

Risen signs EPC deal for Vietnam solar plants: Risen Energy (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Chinese solar panel maker Risen Energy, and TASCO Joint Stock Company (Vietnam Tasker Company) and Vietnam Electricity (Vietnam Electricity Group) have signed an EPC agreement for Vietnamese solar power plants, a PVMen report said. The power plants include 100 MW and 50 MW projects.

Advanced Micro-Fabrication to increase capital: Micro-fabrication equipment company Advanced Micro-Fabrication Equipment announced that it intends to increase the capital of Ideal Energy (Shanghai) Sunflower Thin Film Equipment Ltd., a photovoltaic equipment manufacturer, by RMB 100 million ($15.74 million). With this, the company's shareholding ratio in Ideal Energy will increase from 3.7% to 4.7%.
