Antaisolar supplies 30 MW solar trackers for utility scale solar farm: PV mounting systems provider Antaisolar said that it had provided Helios D2 solar trackers for 30 MW of a 100 MW solar power plant located in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region in China. The company had secured this order  last October (see China PV News Snippets: JA, NEA, Huitian, Antaisolar). The solar plant was connected to the grid end of June.

Aiko & Gaojing sign silicon wafer procurement contract: Chinese solar cell producer Aiko Solar announced that its subsidiaries – Guangdong Aiko Technology, Zhejiang Aiko Solar Technology and Tianjin Aiko Solar Technology – intend to sign a framework contract with Guangdong Jinwan Gaojing Solar Technology, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Guangdong Gaojing Solar Technology Company Limited. The contract focuses on the sale of silicon wafers; Aiko Solar plans to purchase 35 million large-size monocrystalline silicon wafers from Jinwan Gaojing from June to July 2021. Though the price is subject to monthly order agreement, the estimated value of the contract is about RMB 210 million ($32.51 million).

Haitai Xinneng's 1 GW PV module R&D project launch: Haitai Xinneng Shuozhou Base PV module R&D and industrialization project held a launching ceremony in Shuozhou City, Shanxi Province. The planned investment for the module manufacturing project is RMB 300 million ($46.44 million). The company plans to use MBB production technology, compatible with all sizes of 210, 182 and below size. The facility will have an annual production capacity of 1 GW.

Trina invests in Inner Mongolia Tongwei: As per a Photovoltaic Network News report, business information on Inner Mongolia Tongwei High-Purity Crystalline Silicon showed a change in its shareholding. It highlighted a new shareholder – Trina Solar, and the registered capital also changed from the original RMB 1.2 billion ($0.19 billion) to RMB 2.8 billion ($0.43 billion). Trina Solar reportedly has invested RMB 560 million ($86.68 million) and has a capital holding of 20%. The original wholly-owned shareholder Sichuan Yongxiang's  share dropped to 80%. Inner Mongolia Tongwei and Sichuan Yongxiang are both subsidiaries of Tongwei.

Shuangliang wins Xinte's polysilicon reduction furnace order: China headquartered solar PV production equipment maker Shuangliang Eco-Energy announced that its subsidiary – Jiangsu Shuangliang New Energy Equipment – has received a transaction notice from Xinjiang TBEA Engineering Project Management. The project involves a reduction furnace skid for Inner Mongolia Xinte Silicon Materials' 100,000 tons project and Xinte Energy's new polysilicon project of 20,000 tons. The estimated value of the transaction will be approximately RMB 129 million ($19.97 million). Last month, Shuangliang Eco-Energy's wholly-owned subsidiary Shuangliang Silicon Materials (Baotou) had signed a construction contract with China National Chemical Engineering Third Construction (see China PV Snippets:Talesun, Shuangliang, Jinko)
