Trina launches Agile 1P dual row tracker globally: Chinese solar module manufacturer Trina Solar Co., Ltd announced the official worldwide launch of the TrinaTracker Agile 1P Dual Row on April 15 2021. Agile 1P tracker is fully compatible with ultra-high-power modules ranging from 400 W to 670 W+. The Agile series is a new member to the TrinaTracker family after the Vanguard series launched in December, which further enriches the trackers application scenarios and upgrades TrinaTracker solutions. At the recently concluded TaiyangNews Virtual Conference on Solar Trackers, Kevin Shu of Trina Trackers presented a comprehensive view of trackers as utility-scale system solution for low-cost operations (see TaiyangNews Virtual Conference On Solar Trackers).

Korea's 182 bifacial module project successfully grid-connected using JA Solar modules: Korea's first 182 bifacial double glass project was successfully connected to the grid in Taebaek City, Gangwon-do. All the projects adopted Chinese company JA Solar's DeepBlue 3.0 bifacial double glass modules, the solar PV panel manufacturer said in an announcement.

In January 2021, JA Solar's DeepBlue 3.0 modules obtained the 182 KS certification and also obtained the Korean market access permit. The DeepBlue 3.0 component is based on a 182mm x 182mm standard size silicon wafer. This product combines the latest generation of high-efficiency PERC battery technology PERCIUM+, gallium-doped silicon wafer and other high-efficiency, low-attenuation technical solutions with high conversion efficiency. Meanwhile, at the 16th China (Jinan) Solar Utilization Convention and Exhibition, JA Solar had launched its DeepBlue 3.0 Light high-efficiency module, which is tailored for commercial and residential rooftop solar systems in the global market (see China PV News Snippets: JA Solar, Guan Sheng, Jinergy)
