Huawei releases all-scene intelligent optical storage solution: At Shanghai SNEC exhibition, Chinese multinational technology company Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd released a new generation of what it calls 'all-scenario smart optical solutions', covering 4+1 scenarios: an intelligent PV generator FusionSolar 8.0, home green power 2.0, industry green power 1.0, off-grid de-oiling integrated Energy Supply, and an Energy Cloud. In 2014 that Huawei first released its FusionSolar 1.0 intelligent string inverter. As of May 31, 2021, the cumulative global shipments of Huawei Smart PV inverters exceeded 175 GW. Recently the company had released a white paper on Smart String Energy Storage Technology too (see China PV News Snippets: JinkoPower, Huawei, State Grid)

Zhongli's subsidiary signs 27 MW PV module supply contract: Solar module supplier Zhongli Group announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Talesun Solar, has signed a PV module supply contract with Amplus KN One Power Private Limited. As per the contract, Talesun Solar will supply 27 MW of PV modules. In March, Zhongli, again through its subsidiary Talesun Solar, has said it will add 5 GW of solar cell and 5 GW solar module capacity to its manufacturing portfolio (see Zhongli Group To Invest In 10 GW Solar Production)

Trina Solar inks agreements at SNEC: At SNEC 2021, Trina Solar signed a couple of strategic cooperation agreements, the company announced. 1.) It agreed with China General Certification Center, a third-party certification body for China's new energy industry, about long-term reliability research of 600W+ modules. As per this agreement, both parties will cooperate in the business areas of PV product testing and certification, PV-related standards development, and technical services related to high power PV module products and other new technology PV cells, module products and their components. 2.) With Hebei Electric Power of State Power Investment Group it will develop household distributed PV projects and large ground-based power plant projects. Along with the agreements, the Chinese solar module manufacturer also launched its BIPV system solution. In mid May, at the TaiyangNews Virtual Conference on Very High Power Solar Modules, Yaodi Liu, Head of Global Presales Team, Trina Solar, presented the updates on its prime module products (see Yaodi Liu,TrinaSolar on 600W+Ultra High Power Module's Core Value & Integration of PV Ind. Value Chain)

JinkoSolar launches new products at SNEC: In an announcement, module supplier JinkoSolar said that it has launched a number of new products at SNEC 2021 in Shanghai, including the new Tiger Pro series of 415 W high-efficiency PV modules, JinkoSolar BIPV series products, and JinkoSolar's new intelligent light storage system.
