JA Solar launches DeepBlue 3.0 Light modules for distributed solar PV Market: At the 16th China (Jinan) Solar Utilization Convention and Exhibition, PV panel maker JA Solar launched its DeepBlue 3.0 Light high-efficiency module, which is tailored for commercial and residential rooftop solar systems in the global market. The mass production power of the module is up to 415 W, and it also has successfully passed the certification testing conducted by TÜV SÜD to the standards for IEC 61215 and IEC 61730 certification.
The DeepBlue 3.0 Light module inherits all the benefits of DeepBlue 3.0, while taking into account the practical characteristics of both commercial and residential rooftop PV projects, providing customers with greater installation capacity, lower BOS costs and higher investment returns. DeepBlue 3.0 Light modules have a mass production efficiency of higher than 21.3%, providing higher power per unit area and per unit weight, higher roof utilization rate and load-bearing capability. At the TaiyangNews 500W+ Module Conference held last year, Tao Wang from JA Solar had provided background on the DeepBlue 3.0 series modules and the design elements (see TaiyangNews 500W+ Conference: JA Solar). DeepBlue 3.0 was launched in May 2020. Certified by TUV, LVD and EMC, the 500W+ product integrates the advantages of multiple high-efficiency and low-degradation technologies, including new-generation PERC high-efficiency cell technology PERCIUM+, and Ga-doped silicon wafers. The first shipment of its DeepBlue 3.0 modules was sent out from its manufacturing base located in Yiwu, Zhejiang Province last October (see China PV News Snippets: JA, NEA, Huitian, Antaisolar).
